Web Design Reflection

1a. The process started out with us taking a picture first, and i can't really say much cause i didn't finish

1b. It was a pretty long process but i think thats because of the video s we watched. I tried to use my time wise in class

1c. The only challenged i faced was that videos were to long and boring and that made me more tired

1d. I learned about dreamweaver

1e. My overall opinion is that its boring, and kind of lame

1f.  i don't have any because i didn't finish.
e9 Quarter 2 Reflection

1. I think that this semester I've done really good in e-Com. i haven't struggled with anything yet so thats good. I like animation but for me the process was really slow and just took to long. I also like video a lot. It was exciting and fun and not slow.

2. The thing i need to improve more is probably my video editing, and that it doesn't look so choppy. besides that i don't know

3. What I love most about this semester is video. Mostly because we get to go out in the hall ways, or where ever, and just do things we couldn't do if we weren't in e-Com. Also the Mr.Copper, he was pretty cool

4. I can't really think of anything that i would change. Maybe not being gone a lot so i would be able to finish my projects.

5. This semester was a really fun experience. I learned so much than before. I learned about editing and stuff like that.

6. My goal for next semester is to do good in web because I've been good with the other two.

6 Shots Rule
Last Friday we were aloud to go around the school and take pictures of the 6 shot rule. The 6 shot rule is the diffrent views in witch you exaggerate what you're doing. There are extreme close up, close up, medium, wide, extreme wide, and over the shoulder. They can tell how you feel, or where you are at.

Social Media Reflection
Social media, everyone uses it. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, ext. those are all examples of social media. It can be used  positively and negatively, but there always comes a time when you regret posting something. Then once you think you deleted it, well your wrong. Once something goes on the internet it will never leave.
In the internet world there are people out there taking screenshoting your post. These people are call stalkers. Or it can be somebody seeking revenge on you. Anybody can be able to find what you post even if deleted
when having a social media you want to keep it clean. If not then that can affect you in the long run. For example when you apply for a job they will do as much research as they can. Something i would do to keep it clean would be to make sure its appropriate. All of my social medias' are all clean. Thats cause the things i share are mostly about family of friends. Not keeping it clean can get you in lots of trouble. You can lose friends, get in trouble with the school if somebody snitched or prevent you from getting the job of your dreams.
It can also affect you getting into college. They also check for anything bad you posting. Just like if you were applying for a job, It the same process. social media can have a huge negative affect in life.

Elevator Pitch

My name is Isis Tapia. I am in e-Communication at ONW. My friends usually complement me on my humor or how adventures i am. One of the best complements I've had would have to be telling me how funny i am. Or i love it when people say that they can't breath and there crying from laughter. My strengths are being funny and making people laugh i guess. my goal is most likely to be in entertainment or the travel the world.

Animated House

About 3D modeling
Working on our 3D house was the funnest thing we did in animation in my opinion. The most difficult thing about it was the roof. This is because roofs that are more complex can be harder to assemble. It can end up turning into a weird geometric shape and the roof can either cave in or care out in a messed up form. We learned about making doors and windows. Using the color tool we were capable of adding in textures. For example we had added texture to the roof, the outside wall, the drive way, the windows, the grass, and the rocks. We also learned how to add in depth like for the widows. It gives it a pop up affect. Another thing we learned is how to do a porch and stairs. We had the addvantage to add in features like the bushes in front of my house. The door knob was another difficult thing to do. Its was really confusing that instead of adding a 3D sphere i just drew in a circle on the door.

My 10 strengths

My 10 Strengths

How i did it
This project was something new to al of us. This time we were using video timeline instead of anomation timeline. We made layers like we always do to create the background and to have sprerate slides for the words. We then used video timeline to make the actual video. We had to edit the way the words come into the video using key frames and opacity to assemble that.

What i learn
I learn how to edit words. As to make it appear that its sliding in for examples. I also learned how to use key frames and opacity. I had to make a key frame in the begging to were i wanted the word to start or pop out. Then i made another key frame to make it were the ending is. Opacity is how clear or strong you want the color to show up. Another thing is how to use video timeline and how to make it appear to look good.

What i would change
I would change the color of the words. If it wasn't without the brightness and control being changed it would be to list for the background. Another thing i would change would be some of the words. In the end i was just naming random words because i couldn't really think of any words.

This is my video and how it turned out.

Summary
The first thing we did was set up the background including the sky, ground, and a gradient with that. After we had to draw on arcs on the background as a stencel so we know were to place our figure.  We then placed our figure in on the arch creating a life like animation. In the end we decided to have a bit of a gradient at the begging.

What learned about photoshop and animation
I learned that in order to make an animation look life like you have to include arcs. It can either be the figure going up and down or down to up. The main thing it has to have to make it look realistic is for the figure to have a curve. Without a curve it simply looks like a robot and or mechanical.

What i would do differently
Something i would do differently would be to make more frames. The reason is that in the end it looks really choppy. I realized that in the end i didn't use as much frame making it look a little mechanical. Another thing i would do differently would be to make a gradient on my animation This is because it looks to plane and doesn't have anything going on.

Bouncing ball Animation

The Process
Animation is a new thing for all of us and at first was sort of confusing. We had to make separate layers to be able to make the ground, the sky and the many layers for the ball.  We made a gradient for the ball and was optional to make a gradient for the ground and the sky. We had to make at least 8 layers just for the ball to be able to get the affect of the ball bouncing. Then we had to make frames to be able to play the animation and have it set to play forever.

What we learned
We learned that to make a proper animation we have to have layers. Also that we have to shape the ball to have the effect of it bouncing, meaning that you would have to stretch it and squish it. I learned that to make the animation move we have to have the setting on timeline and make frames.

What i would do differently
Something i would do differently would be to change the color of the ball. i feel like the ball color kind of blends into the grass and sky. I would also add clouds because my background looks plane and all i have is a gradient on ground and not the sky. I would make my layers closer together because my animation is really slow and you can see how it slows down at the end.

sidewalk chalk experience

Are experience with the sidewalk chalk was cool. In the begging we were all quite and didn't want to make an effort to talk in front of a small group, but as we went on we got a little used to each other. it was kind of difficult to come up with a flag because there were still some people not wiling to talk. So the first thing we did we was talk about our colors that represent us. Most of us either chose blue or orange, we decided to make those to colors are main ones. we felt that we needed another color to even things out so we added some white. The next day we had to come up with a symbol. that was probably the hardest for us because we wanted just one symbol, but there was five different people in the group. In the end we decided on drawing a sun in the middle to represent that we all are bight in some way. We also added the ocean or waves to symbolize how different we are and how we handle life. In the sun peadles we decided to put our own symbol with our names under it. Once we were outside we had chosen make the strips diagonally. The main line was white and we sort of messed up a little by having the wrong amount of stripes on each side, but we just added two other white strips.

adding our personal symbol to the sun pedals.
finishing coloring in the strips and starting to add detail.
