My 10 strengths

My 10 Strengths

How i did it
This project was something new to al of us. This time we were using video timeline instead of anomation timeline. We made layers like we always do to create the background and to have sprerate slides for the words. We then used video timeline to make the actual video. We had to edit the way the words come into the video using key frames and opacity to assemble that.

What i learn
I learn how to edit words. As to make it appear that its sliding in for examples. I also learned how to use key frames and opacity. I had to make a key frame in the begging to were i wanted the word to start or pop out. Then i made another key frame to make it were the ending is. Opacity is how clear or strong you want the color to show up. Another thing is how to use video timeline and how to make it appear to look good.

What i would change
I would change the color of the words. If it wasn't without the brightness and control being changed it would be to list for the background. Another thing i would change would be some of the words. In the end i was just naming random words because i couldn't really think of any words.

This is my video and how it turned out.

Summary
The first thing we did was set up the background including the sky, ground, and a gradient with that. After we had to draw on arcs on the background as a stencel so we know were to place our figure.  We then placed our figure in on the arch creating a life like animation. In the end we decided to have a bit of a gradient at the begging.

What learned about photoshop and animation
I learned that in order to make an animation look life like you have to include arcs. It can either be the figure going up and down or down to up. The main thing it has to have to make it look realistic is for the figure to have a curve. Without a curve it simply looks like a robot and or mechanical.

What i would do differently
Something i would do differently would be to make more frames. The reason is that in the end it looks really choppy. I realized that in the end i didn't use as much frame making it look a little mechanical. Another thing i would do differently would be to make a gradient on my animation This is because it looks to plane and doesn't have anything going on.

Bouncing ball Animation

The Process
Animation is a new thing for all of us and at first was sort of confusing. We had to make separate layers to be able to make the ground, the sky and the many layers for the ball.  We made a gradient for the ball and was optional to make a gradient for the ground and the sky. We had to make at least 8 layers just for the ball to be able to get the affect of the ball bouncing. Then we had to make frames to be able to play the animation and have it set to play forever.

What we learned
We learned that to make a proper animation we have to have layers. Also that we have to shape the ball to have the effect of it bouncing, meaning that you would have to stretch it and squish it. I learned that to make the animation move we have to have the setting on timeline and make frames.

What i would do differently
Something i would do differently would be to change the color of the ball. i feel like the ball color kind of blends into the grass and sky. I would also add clouds because my background looks plane and all i have is a gradient on ground and not the sky. I would make my layers closer together because my animation is really slow and you can see how it slows down at the end.
